Highlights of the results of DigiVET Research in Austria
Which competences for #VET professionals are necessary to cope with the upcoming challenges in online teaching and training?
The results of the Austrian #DigiVET research points out that while trainers mainly want to have more information and guidelines on existing tools or methods to support the provision of learning content, experts and researchers in the field see the main challenge in the DESIGN OF ONLINE LEARNING – not only the provision.
A further e-teaching qualification concept for VET professionals will have to include the examination of the specific learning concept, the teaching and learning approach and with the resulting demands made on the teachers, such as the:
- management of learning groups
- the facilitation of learning
- interaction and communication with learners
