Increasing employability

An accident or a severe disease can change your life. Not only that you have to cope with health problems – even if you manage to recover from a long-term illness, sometimes it is impossible to continue your professional life in the way you were used to.

New Horizons is a EU funded project (Erasmus+) which was developed to support people who have acquired disability after an accident or long-standing illness which had a severe impact on their personal and professional life. Specific training tools were developed – on the one hand to qualify trainers, coaches and consultants who work with long-term unemployed persons with disabilities on other hand to increase the employability skills of these people.

The New Horizons project team created a social online platform for trainers, consultants and adult educators who wish to offer more effective support to long-term unemployed people with acquired disabilities. The platform also offers opportunities for mutual learning and exchange. Klick here to register for your e-learning experience! In addition to the course, the project website offers free material for download, such as the Career Kit “Empower yourself”. Discover more: www.newhorizons-eu.org
